I just stumbled upon this amazing video shot on some mountain slopes somewhere using a camera that records in 360 degrees. The video player even gives you the ability to click and drag the view around while it's playing. Check out this amazing video and don't be afraid to click & drag on the video to change the viewpoint while it's playing.
Not only is the action in this video pretty spectacular for the filming & editing is equally as impressive. Makes me want to go there and learn how to flip off a wall. Enjoy!
This trailer makes this video look like it's going to be absolutely epic! I can't wait to see it. According to the info on YouTube it's going to be released in September of 2011. If you've ever been interested in Snowboarding or just a fan of amazing filmmaking then check out this trailer. It doesn't disappoint.
I love seeing progression in just about any sport and a 360 front flip on a dirt bike is definitely something you've never seen before. I predict Mark Monea is going to win best trick at the X-Games this year. Check it out.
Browsing thru videos on Vimeo, I stumbled across a Latvian BMX rider that has some very stylish skills on a freecoaster. Riding pegless & brakeless, Tom has a fluid style with plenty of speed. He's not afraid of pulling some big drops either. Being that I'm currently running my bike just like his, I'm really intrigued by his style & imagining that he is having fun riding his bike. Check out his Vimeo profile for more videos he made of friends and contests. Enjoy!
I can without a doubt say that I have never seen anyone with as much skill on a skateboard and BMX bike as Codey Levesque. The amount of control and comfort that he shows with a board and a bike is astounding. Codey has to be one of the most athletic human beings I've ever seen. It is really cool to see such a natural athlete find his inspiration in the action sports. Enjoy these videos I found on the Cult Crew's Vimeo profile via The Come Up.

I just stumbed across this Props Bio of one of my BMX heros Brian Foster and had to share it. This was obviously filmed years ago but he's still killing it on a little kids bike. I hope to be like him and still riding my bike well into my 30s. That is if my body holds up that long. You can see more at PropsBMX.tv Enjoy!

This may be in French but the video speaks for itself. Enjoy!
I've always enjoyed a video clip of a rider pedaling through some dust or dirt when it gets kicked up behind the wheel but this takes that idea to a whole new level. Enjoy!

As you can see from the post below, I went on a long road bike ride this morning and I'm feeling a bit sleepy. That being the case, I'm going to post a bunch of stuff in one post so check it out. You get some good BMX videos, Travis Pastrana destroying a Subaru, a "plane" you can wear, and a super addictive game. Enjoy!

If the video below doesn't work then just click HERE to see a guy holding a glider up with his own body and taking off with a strong head wind. Impressive.
Check out one of the simplest and addictive games ever played on the internet. I stayed up 2 hours later than I meant to because of THIS great game. Canabalt is so much fun and easy to play.
I created a video from the footage I took on the day of the memorial ride. Enjoy!
Christophe Le Canne Memorial Ride from Nudnik on Vimeo.
Today I participated in a the Memorial Ride in Key Biscayne, FL to honor the memory of local cyclist Christophe Le Canne. Christophe was killed last Sunday morning when he was struck by an alleged drunk driver while he was crossing a bridge. The goal of this ride was to draw attention to the dangerous conditions that bicyclists are forced to deal with when they go on rides in designated bike lanes around the Miami area. I am staying in Miami because of a work trip and I had made plans with the VP of the Southeast region to go on a road bike while I was in town. He just got into the cycling over Christmas so he was excited to go for a group ride and when he heard about this memorial ride it seemed like a worthy cause. I met up at his house in Miami and we pedaled about 6 or 7 miles to the meeting place on Key Biscayne. It was impressive how many riders showed up for the ride. It has been estimated that there were at least 4,000 cyclists present. At one point, we were on the road and it was a see of riders, taking up two lanes as far as I could see in front of me and behind me. I have never been part of anything like that before and it was an impressive show of solidarity. The mood within the crowd of riders was somber but also energized. The camaraderie that is shared among cyclists is something that is hard to explain to non-cyclists. I have spent most of my road bike cycling experience in a solo setting and so it was really nice to be a part of such a large gathering of like minded people. The vast majority of the participants were not your casual bike rider, as was evident by the prominent sound of 100s of shoes clipping into pedals every time the crowd would begin to move. But that didn't deter a few casual bikers from joining in on the experience and pedaling the road bike route down and around Key Biscayne. I pedaled a total of 42.6 miles and I averaged 15.5 mph, which included a lot of stops. I even impressed myself with my climb up the tallest bridge in Miami. I don't consider myself a climber but for that one bridge I felt good. The next bridge, however, was half as tall but three times as long so it kicked my butt. For the rest of the ride we held a pretty steady 20+ mph pace and I was able to stay in the peloton so I felt good about my efforts. I truly enjoyed myself on this ride and I hope that they decide to make this an annual event to bring attention to the dangers associated with simply riding a bike on the roads.
Can't remember how I found this video (probably Facebook) from Billabong on YouTube but, holy cow!!! You have got to watch this video of a monster wave being paddled into by two ballsy surfers. Enjoy!
I found a trailer via a Ride BMX tweet about a new TV show that's coming soon and it looks like it's got potential to be truly entertaining. It's being produced by 2HeadedHorse who are the same guys who bring you American Misfits and Built to Shred on FuelTV. The concept looks pretty simple; take a skateboarder and a BMXer, give them each a camera crew and send them around the country to meet up with local shredders. Patrick Melcher is the skaterboarder and Jon Peacy is the BMXer. Based on the trailer below, Las Vegas is their first stop and if you know anything about action sports then you know that Las Vegas has lots of killer spots. Anyways, check out the trailer and stay tuned to this blog for more updates about when the show will air.

Now I call myself a bicycle enthusiast and I have posted some rather unique bike designs on this site in the past but this one is even beyond me. I don't understand the point. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Burton Snowboards introduces the U.S. Olympic Snowboarding Squads Uniforms for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Check out the link below for more details from the New York Times. I personally think it looks pretty cool and would be stoked to have that setup for when I hit the slopes. I wonder if they'll sell it to the public after the Olympics are over. Somebody should suggest that to them. Good luck to the U.S. team next year.
Thanks to a friend on Facebook, I found this amazing snowboard video on MPORA about Nitro Teamrider, Eero Ettala. This guy takes a brutal face to the handrail along with some huge airs. The filming in this video is spectacular. Enjoy!
I'm really not sure what to say about this video that the title doesn't already say. The soundtrack is an "interesting" choice. Talk about having your own style. Enjoy!
