Holy crap, it doesn't get much cuter than this. This video makes me want to go out and get a French Bulldog and put him on his back. Adorable, enjoy!

I stumbled upon this really cute video of a very smart dog doing some very useful tricks. Enjoy!
This morning I was woken up early (on my day off I might add) by one of my dogs who needed to go outside, or at least pretend to go outside so she could come back in to eat breakfast. As I mentioned today is my day off and while I had planned on going back to sleep, I didn't feel tired for some reason so I decided to stay up. Now I can't explain why I felt the urge to take some photos but the cuteness of my dogs so early in the morning inspired me to break out my camera & snap a few pics. These are the best from this morning. I hope you enjoy their cuteness as much as I do.
Collins and his favorite toy, the Kong.
He loves his Kong.
Izzy is such a pretty dog.
I just found out about THIS via a Facebook status update for Dallas, TX and I have to say that I instantly became infuriated by what I read. It would seem that on Saturday February 6th, 2011 Mayor Pro Tem, Dwaine Caraway, presented convicted felon Michael Vick with a key to the city of Dallas. If you've seen my blog before or if you follow me on Facebook then you know that I am an animal lover and that I currently live with 4 dogs that I love like they were my children. That being said, it makes me so angry to think that Michael Vick is receiving accolades of any kind given his history of abusing dogs.
There was a journalist in attendance during the ceremony to present Michael Vick with a key to the city of Dallas that had actually adopted one of the dogs rescued from Michael Vick's dog fighting ring. He made a video of his experience trying to approach Vick about his dog fighting past. I found this video very informative with regards to showing that Vick hasn't changed at all despite all the interviews he's done to the contrary.
The one thing that really jumped out at me about this whole situation is that Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway stated that "a great majority" of people would have supported his decision to give Vick the key to the city. I find it hard to believe that "a great majority" of people support dog fighting.
Please watch the video below and then feel free to contact Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway on his Facebook page or via the City of Dallas website to let him know how you feel about his actions this past weekend. You can also read my previous post from 2 years ago about Michael Vick's return to the NFL here.
Today's cute critter is thanks to StumbleUpon, the greatest toolbar for perusing the internet.
UPDATE: I just stumbled upon this image and had to share as well, if you've ever owned a cat then this has probably happened to your keyboard or laptop at least once.
This isn't necessarily cute (except for the fact that the dog smiles like my dog Harper) but it is funny.
I wish my buddy Collins would be this sweet to my future kids but I think he'll just end up trying to eat them.
Now this is a dog on a mission. Talk about incessant digging.
I'm not sure if this photo is terrifying, funny or just plain amazing but I can say that I have never wanted to know what was going through a dogs mind more than I do when looking at this photo.
Man's best friend apparently applies to fellow dogs as well.
Holy crap that's a LONG tongue.
Man's best friend is always there for you when you need them. Even if it's just to hold your coffee while you try something stupid.
I found THIS page on Flickr which has some cute photos of sleeping cats. The photo I included here actually made me laugh out loud in my cubicle at work. Kind of hard to pretend like you're working when you're laughing hysterically. Click the link above to see the rest of the cute sleeping cat photos.
Nothing better than a box full of puppies.
I am warning you right now, if you love your dog than this will probably make you cry. I love my dogs a lot and I teared up watching this. It is a well edited documentary about having to say goodbye to man's best friend. I actually had to force myself not to picture my dogs in this video or I would have balled like a baby. It's amazing just how much love and loyalty a dog can give to their owner. I love you Harper, Collins, Izzy and Tonka. You'll be missed when you're gone.

So I just stumbled upon this website with a plethora of baby animal cuteness. 70 to be exact. I selected just a few of my favorites but I highly recommend you click the link above to see them all. Enjoy
This is both sad and kinda scary looking. Apparently there are some Spectacled Bears at a zoo in Germany that are going bald. The picture below is taken from the National Geographic website where you can find out more.
This is just one more reason why I want a Bulldog as my next pet. While some people may argue with me (my wife included) Olde English Bulldogs are so ugly they're cute and Tillman is no exception. Tillman the Skateboarding Bulldog has now added a third board sport to his repertoire (on top of surfing) and will be participating in this year's Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA on New Year's Day.
The Natural Balance Dog Food company came up with the idea of the idea of using Tillman (& 4 other bulldogs) to promote their line of dog foods by having him snowboard down a 112 foot tall mountain on a parade float during the Rose Parade. Tillman has been skateboarding & surfing for a few years, and snowboarding is his newest sport of choice. Don't forget to tune into the Rose Parade on New Year's Day to see Tillman hitting the slopes.
I stumbled upon this story and not only did I have to post it because it's an amazing story but also because it's about a coyote that looks a lot like our sweet little Izzy. Snopes says this story is true so I'm going to assume it is and if so then this is the luckiest coyote in the whole wide world.
Apparently a brother and sister were driving from Colorado to California when they hit a coyote with their car at 75 mph. They assumed that the poor little coyote had to be dead so they kept driving. They continued their trip and made two fuel stops over the next 8 hours without thinking much about the coyote they hit with their car earlier in the trip. When they finally made it home they noticed in the grill of their car what they assumed was just some fur from the coyote they had hit. When they used a stick to try to clean the fur out it flinched.
Come to find out the coyote had actually gotten lodged in the grill of the car when it was hit and not only survived the impact but managed to come out of the entire incident with nothing more than a few minor wounds. Talk about one Wiley Coyote.
The picture above is of the coyote in the story and the picture below is of our sweet little Izzy. Tell me you don't think Izzy has to be part coyote.
This has got to be one of the cutest things I've seen so far. I stumbled upon this at meme. Adorable!!!
I had to post these photos (from THIS article) because the little wolf pup looks a lot like my (coy-dog) Izzy. Super cuteness below.
